KENNEWICK, Wash.—More than six months ago we first told you about the 50 neglected cats left behind after a woman was evicted from her home. Months later, volunteers are still trapping cats.
There are about 10 to 15 felines still in the area. So far 95 have been trapped since the summer, 34 were either euthanized or died, and the rest went to a farm or were adopted. The cats that are left behind are pretty tricky to capture, because they are afraid of the traps.
Once they are all captured, they will be trapped, neutered and released.
