RICHLAND, Wash. -- Richland police are looking into a burglary that happened at a pharmacy around 2:30 AM Thursday. It happened on the 1000 block of Wright Avenue at Densows Health Market and Pharmacy. Police found a window broken in, and the owner says someone stole prescription drug oxycontin. The owner wouldn't tell KNDU how much was taken.
When it comes to laws about locking up prescription drugs, the owner says how a pharmacy handles their security, is up to each individual drug store.
Richland police are still searching for suspects, but say the motive was either to sell the drugs, or to feed their own addiction. No one was working at the time of the burglary. If you have any information, call Richland Police at 628-0333
