Kennewick, WA---

Let's be honest... No one here likes to take exams. Sometimes tests are needed to see how you measure up.   Well over the next seven games the Americans will find out where they stand in the US Division.

Playing both the division leading Portland Winterhawks, and the second place Spokane Chiefs.  Each three times.  Tri-City currently sits in third behind both clubs.  The Ams will take on Portland at home this Friday, and battle Spokane on the road Saturday.

Head coach Jim Hiller said, "It's a great dry run I guess if you want to call it for playoffs. Which of course begin later on in March. Because they're going to be intense games... Intense weekends against great teams. So we have to be a lot better at the end of March than we are today... And these games should provide some real tests for us."

Mason Wilgosh added, "These games makes statements. Winning this weekend will really set the tone for the rest of the season to let them know that these guys are here to play."
