KENNEWICK, Wash.— While crews are spending the day on the roof at the Cowboys Stadium clearing ice and snow for the Super Bowl, many of us are loading up on snack and drinks. KNDU wants to give you a friendly reminder to be safe Sunday after the big event.
If you are 21 or older and drink, here are a few tips: Arrange a ride home before the game. Serve and eat lots of food. Stop serving and drinking alcohol at the end of the third quarter. Keep cab numbers handy.
48% of fatalities nationwide on Super Bowl Sunday are due to impaired drivers. Plus, you can be held liable and prosecuted if someone you served ends up in an impaired driving crash.
