WAPATO, Wash. -- A couple's move-in plans were canceled after a fire swept through their mobile home.

Yakima County District 5 and Wapato City firefighters responded to the fire on the 100 block of W. "B" Street at around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Fire crews were able to get the fire under control and cleared the scene by around 1:00 a.m. Wednesday.

Jamie and Miguel Quantrille told KNDO they were planning to move out of their place in Yakima and into their father's house in Wapato.

The couple said they were going to move items into their new place the day of the fire, but Jamie Quantrille said they decided to stay in Yakima because she was not feeling well. The couple have three children.

Jamie Quantrille said the home had been in the family for more than 20 years.

Meantime, the family is working with their insurance company. The home was a total loss.

Firefighters estimated the damage at about $60,000.

No one was injured.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
