Central is Ready for Western!

Posted: Updated:

ELLENSBURG, Wash. -- The Central Washington Wildcats have a a shot to win their 12th straight game Wednesday night against their arch-rival Western Washington.

This, after taking down Montana State University Billings Saturday. A win and Central has at least a share of their first GNAC conference championship. A win also gets them the top seed in the upcoming conference tournament.

Plus, they would just love to beat the Vikings on Fox Sports Net.

"I'm ready," said Central Senior Jamar Berry. "Hopefully they are watching, we're coming."

"Western, rivalry game, they hate us, we hate them," said Guard Chris Scott. "Trash talking all the time, it's going to be a beautiful thing."

"It's going to be exciting to be able to clinch the GNAC on TV at Western," said Forward Chris Sprinker. "It's going to be fun."

It all tips off Wednesday at 7pm on FSN.
