PASCO, Wash.- A career expo at Columbia Basin College Thursday made the Tri-Cities job market appear as strong as ever.
Representatives from about 60 businesses were there, looking for new interns and employees.
The list included several Hanford contractors, Lamb Weston, Bank of America and many more including KNDU-KNDO.
Job seekers were able to present their resumes, network and meet the employers face to face.
"I'm liking the personal one on one interaction with the employers. I do not like applying online and filling out online applications," says Igor Gulchuk.
"This time they get to see you in action here from your own voice and what you like to do and what your good at, says Matthew Norman.
Over a thousand people attended the event, and some said they felt fairly confident they found a new job.
