Fever Roll in Exhibition Win Over Wenatchee Valley

Kennewick, WA--

      After a slow start, the Fever turned up the heat to beat visiting Wenatchee Valley 53 to 14 at home in an exhibition game.  Tri-Cities looking sharp in its lone pre-season scrimmage before the season kick offs next Saturday.  The Fever playing host to Arizona, Saturday February 26th to start the season. 

     Here's some reaction after the Thursday night's game:

     Fever quarterback Antwon Young said, "After tonight's game we definitely know we can put up points, but there's definitely a lot of little things we need to work on. Like on timing and not taking sacks on certain plays, and throwing the ball away. We have a lot to work on, and we have about two weeks to get ready for our next game verse Arizona."

     Head coach Adam Shackleford added, "And we left a lot of points out on the field today, and probably gave up seven more than we should of. We had a couple penalties called back some points. We've really got to clean up certain parts of the game. It's a good start, it's not where we want to be."
