Three homicide victims identified in West Valley

WEST VALLEY, Wash. - The Yakima County Sheriff's Office released the names on Saturday of the three victims found dead in a gated community Friday confirming they are all related.

William Goggin, 61; his wife Pauline Goggin, 60; and his mother Elizabeth Goggin, 98; were all found dead inside their home on 630 Pheasant Crest Drive just after 11:30 a.m. The house is inside the gated community of Falcon Ridge.

The first deputies arrived late Friday morning responding to a call from a co-worker of Mr. Goggin who had heard from him since Wednesday evening. When they arrived on scene, they found an open door and first found the body of Elizabeth. The husband and wife were found in different parts of the house, according to a news release from YSO.

Th Washington State Patrol crime lab is assisting investigators and response teams arrived around 8:00 p.m. on Friday. They started documenting the scene and prepared for forensic examinations. The bodies were removed just after 12:00 a.m. and more work will be done at the crime scene Saturday.

Autopsies have been scheduled for all three bodies on Monday.
