Coroner: Triple homicide victims died of blunt force trauma
YAKIMA, Wash- Yakima County Coroner says the three victims of Friday's West Valley triple homicide died of blunt force trauma. Coroner Jack Hawkins says he has not yet determined the murder weapon.
Yakima County Sheriff's deputies found William Goggin (61), his wife Pauline Goggin (60), and his mother Elizabeth Goggin (98) dead in their home in the Falcon Ridge Community at 11:35am Friday. Their autopsies took over seven hours to complete Monday.
Hawkins says the medical examiner is awaiting toxicology reports and will continue to examine the bodies. He reports that further investigation of the crime scene is necessary to identify the murder weapon.
Stewart Graham, Chief of Detectives for YSO issued a news release at about 1pm this afternoon. He says that investigators have not identified any suspects or reasons the Goggins were killed.
