KENNEWICK, Wash. -- Former Prosser mayor Linda Lusk has taken on new legal representation two weeks before her trial.
Linda Lusk, 50, is charged with felony child molestation and rape involving a 14-year-old boy.
During the continuation of her omnibus, Lusk gave notice that she has hired Jim Egan and Larry Stephenson to replace her attorney Scott Johnson.
Last week, Lusk took the stand asking for her interview and partial confession of having an inappropriate sexual relationship with the boy not to be allowed in court.
She says she believed she was making a plea deal with prosecutor Andy Miller. Lusk's trial is set for March 7.
