KENNEWICK, Wash. -- Kennewick police are still working on identifying human remains found near Clover Island, February 7.
The detectives at KPD say they are still trying to get dental records from missing persons reports that match the description of the body, which the Benton County Coroner describes as a right-handed white male, 35 years or older.
KPD say no additional missing persons reports have been turned into them from other police agencies, and they're looking into their own missing persons for a match.
"They are in contact with insurance companies in an attempt to locate records of some of their missing persons. We have not at this point asked for specific records that I know of. We're still in the search, it's still ongoing," says John Hansens, the Benton County Coroner.
