Still more questions than answers in triple homicide
YAKIMA, Wash- There are still many unanswered questions about last week's triple homicide in West Valley. At this point the Sheriff's Office is keeping quiet about many of the details.
Today investigators continued interviewing people who had contact with the three members of the Goggin family. Chief Stewart Graham says that finding out the relationship between potential suspects and the victims is their primary focus. They also still need to sort through evidence to send to a crime lab.
Some details he wouldn't share are what the murder weapon was, whether there was forced entry into the Goggin home, or if anything had been stolen.
"It's sort of an investigative tool that we have which helps us as time goes on to be able to separate good info from bad info. Info we know only we have and that the person or persons responsible would have", says Graham.
However Graham said that doesn't mean they are sitting on all of the answers. Investigators still have not settled on a scenario that led up to the deaths of William, Pauline, and Elizabeth Goggin. There are still no suspects.
