West Richland golf course clubhouse almost finished
WEST RICHLAND, Wash. -- Construction on a new clubhouse at the West Richland golf course is almost finished. A fire destroyed the previous clubhouse in 2008.
There was a ground breaking ceremony for a new one last year. Owner and general manager Michelle Marcum is looking forward to the new building, "You know events that were larger tournaments and golf tournaments and stuff we'll be able to have these back again and that will be a great thing for everybody."
Marcum says delays pushed the expected completion of the building back to the end of March. The clubhouse has a cost over a million dollars, but Marcum would not say exactly how much.
