Wildcats in Tournament Mode

Ellensburg, WA---

The Central Washington Wildcats finished their regular season with 16 conference wins.   The most ever in the GNAC conference.  Last night, they beat out Western Oregon 71-57 as Jamar Berry led the 'Cats with 22.

Now bring on the postseason.  The Wildcats start the GNAC tournament Monday against Montana State Billings.   A team they have already beat twice this season.

Head coach Greg Sparling said, "I think the big thing is going to be defense. Our defense makes our offense run. I think the nice thing about having home court advantage is get our fans out here behind us ... Give us that little extra energy. It's one game at a time. We got Billings on the radar ... All we're focused on is Billings and then after Billings is the next, when we get by them ... We'll look at the next opponent ... I t5hink the big thing about the playoffs is you got to bring your 'A' game because you are trying to end people's seasons."
