PASCO, Wash. -- A Franklin County judge has set a competency hearing for April 8th for Ramon Garcia Morales.
The murder trial has been delayed for more than two years. The most recent delay was prompted by defense claims that his mental health has worsened.
A psychiatrist from Eastern State hospital and an expert offered by the defense will examine Morales.
Ramon and his brother Jose are accused of murdering a man and wounding his wife in their Pasco home two years ago.
