DIRECTV customers can expect to be disappointed later this week when turning to the local FOX channel.
The recent 4-week deal between FOX and DIRECTV will expire March 3rd.
The Spokane-based company that owns the local FOX affiliate KFFX 11, made a deal with DIRECTV to air local FOX programming for four weeks during the month of February.
This allowed customers to see the Super Bowl, rather than continue a blackout that began on December 31st.
The vice president of Northwest Broadcasting says they have not struck a new deal with DIRECTV and continue to be in negotiations.
