WALLA WALLA, Wash. - The Walla Walla VA is getting ready to add three new facilities.
Senator Patty Murray along with other veteran advocates pushed for funding back in 2007. The current medical center was constructed in 1928 and has had several upgrades but is still outdated.
VA leaders say the new facilities will offer top of the line care for vets, including a rehab unit and a speciality care clinic that will focus on optimology, dental and audiology.
Construction is scheduled to start this summer.
