PASCO, WA- A man will go on trial this summer, one year after Pasco police arrested him for murder.
Kurtis Chapman, 23, is charged with second-degree murder for the death of his pregnant former girlfriend, Shenay Greenough, 19. He's charged with manslaughter for the death of the unborn child.
Police found the body of Greenough last May beneath the front porch of Chapman's home.
Judge Craig Matheson on Friday scheduled the trial for June.
Chapman's attorneys continue to argue the charges be dropped because they believe police violated Chapman's civil rights when they eavesdropped on a jailhouse phone conversation between Chapman and his attorney.
