PASCO, Wash. - Prosecutors in Franklin County have announced they'll charge a woman accused of shooting and killing her mother with first degree murder. That means prosecutors believe the shooting was premeditated. 37 year old Tashia Stuart was arrested last Thursday at a home she was living in with her mother and daughter on Salmon Drive in Pasco. 58 year old Judy Hebert was found dead in the home, she was shot multiple times. Stuart's seven year old daughter was said to have witnessed the shooting, she was originally put in foster care but has now been moved to a relative's home.

"We are alleging the crime of murder in the First Degree with special allegations that this was committed with a firearm as well as this was an act of domestic violence," Franklin County Prosecutor Shawn Sant said. "At this point we feel this is the appropriate charge under the current investigation and the investigation is ongoing."
