YAKIMA, Wash. - The 24th annual Central Washington Home and Garden Show returns to the Yakima Valley SunDome on Friday with new demonstrations as well as popular services.
The Central Washington Home Builders Association has added cooking classes to the schedule this year and will even take on cupcake decorating. The information and exhibits people have come to expect will also be back though.
"Whether it's a bed, new flooring, new windows, a flag pole, anything that you can think of that you want to do to just spruce up your home for spring," said Carly Faul, "You can find here at the Home and Garden Show."
Instead of building the design center during the show, this year it will be finished at the start so visitors can learn about all the different styles and techniques at any time. Other new additions will include fire restoration for your home.
Expert panels and a look at the trends in home building and landscaping will also be at the SunDome all weekend long.
Tickets are $9 for adults, $8 for seniors, Children 12 and under are free. The Home and Garden Show closes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, it's open 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
