Change clocks and batteries

Posted: Updated:

KENNEWICK, Wash.—It's time to gain an extra hour of light or lose an hour of sleep depending on how you look at it.

Tri-Cities and Yakima Fire Marshals want to remind you to change your clock for spring forward.  They say to test you smoke alarms and plan two escape routes incase of a fire.

They also say in 2009 81% of fire deaths that happened in the home did not have working smoke alarms.
