KENNEWICK, Wash. -- – Luke Siemens stopped 35 shots to earn first star of the night and lead the Silvertips to an important 2-1 road victory over the Tri-City Americans. Ryan Harrison and Josh Winquist scored for the ‘Tips Wednesday night. Everett now moves up to seventh place in the Western Conference, one point ahead of the Prince George Cougars with three games remaining in the 2010-2011 regular season.
After a scoreless first period, Patrick Holland got the scoring started for the Americans Wednesday night. Scoring his 22nd goal of the season, Holland gave Tri-City a 1-0 lead at 6:34 of the second period. Winquist tied the game at 11:43 with his eighth goal of the year on assists from Ryan Murray and Josh Birkholz. Winquist's goal made the score 1-1 to end the period.
Harrison scored the game winning goal at 9:17 of the third period on the power play. Harrison's 21st goal of the year led Everett a 2-1 victory over the Tri-City Americans.
