KENNEWICK, Wash. -- Drew Owsley made 28 saves to help lead the Tri City Americans to a 6-1 victory over the visiting Chilliwack Bruins Friday night. For the Bruins (32-31-4-4) it was their first loss in regulation in 11 games.
The Americans (42-24-2-2), who held period leads of 2-1 and 5-1 outshot the Bruins 51-29. Six different players scored goals for the Americans. Jamie Crooks scored the lone goal for the Bruins.
The Bruins were 1/7 on the power play and 7/10 on the penalty kill.
Lucas Gore stopped 30 of the 35 shots he faced before giving way to Braden Gamble after forty minutes. Gamble made 15 saves on 16 shots in the final period.
