RICHLAND, Wash.- About 500 hundred runners from all over the Northwest are flocking to the Tri-Cities for Southeastern Washington's first-ever, Ultra-Marathons.
The Badger Mountain challenge will feature a 15-k, a 50-k and a 100 mile endurance run.
A typical marathon is only about 26 miles.
The hundred mile Ultra-Marathon starts at 7 a.m. Friday and runners have 32 hours to cross the finish line.
Money raised from entry fees will go to The Friends of Badger Mountain group.
