Ams Prepare for Game 3 at Vancouver

Kennewick, WA---

       Game three between the Tri-City Americans is set for Tuesday night.  the Ams leading this best of seven series 2-0. 

      In game two, the Ams watched a two goal lead evaporate by getting away from the game plan.  As a result, Vancouver had nine power play opportunities, converting on just two.

     With the series shifting to Vancouver, the Ams acknowledging the need to player with a lead.

    Head coach Jim Hiller said, "A couple situations we didn't need to put ourselves in, and I thought they took advantage of that. They got under our skin and... We were not smart. I think we pride ourselves on being hard playing and smart team."

    Ams right winger Patrick Holland added, "Played 73 games now... 74 now I guess and so we've seen it all and it's not too tough for us to adjust to these types of games."
