PASCO, Wash.—Every spring Pasco Police team up to crack down on people listening to loud music. It's called ‘Lower the Boom.' KNDU looked into just how loud is too loud.
The ordinance is always in effect, but Friday Pasco Police begin an emphasis.
If you are caught with your music loud enough to hear 75 feet away or more in Pasco you will receive a $250 fine, 50 feet or more in Kennewick is $150, and 75 feet or more in Richland the fine is up to the judge.
