KENNEWICK, Wash. -- The City of Kennewick officially has a city manager.
Marie Mosley was voted into her position at Tuesday night's city council meeting.
She won a six to one approval on her $136,000 contract
She says she's looking forward to some new projects, especially development with the Bridge To Bridge Project, the Southridge area and the Public Facilities District.
"We're working with a great council. good cohesive council, that really helps. Plus we have a great staff that really are committed to the community, making this a better place, and wanting to do a good job for the citizens. I'm excited to be working here. This is a great place," says Mosley.
Mosley, who is a CPA, has been Interim City Manager since September of last year.
