We've all heard the NFL being called the no fun league when it comes to celebrations. Well, in the Indoor Football League, the Tri-Cities Fever, have no reservations about getting their groove on, after scoring a touchdown.
In the team's most recent win against Kent, which is actually now Seattle. Fever wideout Steven Whitehead did the Kid 'n' Play dance from the movie House Party, after scoring a touchdown. It was a celebration that was already in the works, before Whitehead's touchdown.
Whitehead said, "That was the old house party. Old kid and play... Way back when before a lot of people were born. I mean it was actually kind of spontaneous... I told them the next time someone scores we need to do the kid 'n' play."
Fever starting quarterback Houston Lillard said, "We was on the sideline talking about it, and was like somebody to the kid 'n' play dance with me. If you ever see House Party, Kid 'N' play come together and they're smacking their feet."
