KENNEWICK, Wash.- Kamiakin High School students continued a 25 year tradition in Kennewick Friday.
FFA and Horticulture students ran a community plant sale to raise money for trips like national competiitons.
The sale was the final step in a year long process of watering, pinching, and pruning.
Students and customers we talked to say they got a lot out of the event.
@"I'm taking my experiences from horticulture class to my own house and using it with my gardens," Says Kayla Neminth
"We have to be able to know everything so if the customers ask a certain question we have to be able to answer them," says Brittany Douglas.
@"I'm going to plant corn, tomatoes, cucumber I can that they have here," says customer Genevieve Howard.
