The Fever's toughest game to date will be this Saturday when undefeated Colorado rolls into town. The Ice are 7-0, and one of two undefeated's in the Indoor Football League.
Meanwhile, Tri-Cities has won four straight games, and last Saturday in a win against Arizona, wideout Tre Young returned to the line up. His first game in 7 weeks, since suffering a high ankle sprain. In that game he caught five passes for 65 yards and two touchdowns. Also had one carry for 23 yards rushing.
Young in just three complete games played this season has ten touchdowns, which ranks him in the top 15 in the IFL in total touchdowns this year.
Head coach Adam Shackleford said, "He's just a play maker. He's a deep threat. He can catch those screens. Anytime he touches the ball he has that ability to score, and score quickly. He's a premiere guy in our offense."
Tre Young added, "Ankle is a lot better man... It's a lot better. You know been getting in there re-habbing you know everyday. My ankle did pretty well in Arizona. I obviously played very well. I'm just gonna keep trying to rehab it. Make sure it's back. It's just gonna take a good bit of practicing. You know hopefully that works out. "
