KENNEWICK, Wash. - The former owner of the golf course in Columbia Park says he's accepted the City of Kennewick's offer to settle a lawsuit for $2.4 million. A judge had ruled the city owed Gary Long Jr. almost $3 million for preventing him from building an RV park on the course. But in a statement released by his lawyer today, Long said it was never about money. He said the case is an example of the system working to hold government officials accountable. KNDU's calls to the City of Kennewick have gone unanswered.
