During the course of a season there are defining moments. Both good, and bad. On Saturday, the Fever experienced the good. Tri-Cities took down previously undefeated Colorado 48-42.
Needing a last second touchdown pass from Houston Lillard to Joey Hew Len, with just 6.9 seconds left to secure the victory. The win marks the Fever's fifth in a row, as the team now prepares for divisional rival Seattle this weekend.
Head coach Adam Shackleford said, "I think it's a little bit of momentum. We come back on a team that we beat a couple weeks ago... The Seattle team... We play them here again. They got a new coach and a new style, and we got to be ready for them. This is a momentum builder, but only if we win our next game."
Fever wide receiver Joey Hew Len added, "We needed to get that win at home. Keep it going. We got... next opponent is going to be really tough, and we're just going to keep on working."
