PASCO, Wash. -- Currently the investigation into the death of man found on a street is up in the air. Police are trying to sort through a lot of information and determine facts from rumors in the death of Lupe Silva.
The 27-year-old died last week from what the Franklin County Coroner ruled blunt trauma to the head.
He was found lying in the street, and police want to know if his death is connected to a chase by the U.S. Marshall's office.
"We're not quite sure how the circumstances of how he ended up in the street. We're actively following leads and conducting an investigation to try to piece that together and what took place right now," says Captain Jim Raymond, of the Pasco Police Department.
U.S. Marshall's were conducting an investigation near the block of 15th and Yakima Streets.
Witnesses say they saw the vehicle at that intersection where Silva's body was found. Police haven't said whether Silva had any connection to the car or if he was pushed or jumped from it.
Maybe you saw something that could help the investigation. The car is a 1996 or '97 maroon Dodge Intrepid. Call Pasco Police if you've got information.
