All Three Area School Bonds Not Passing

SPECIAL ELECTION- All three area school bonds are not passing.

47% of voters in Franklin County voted "Yes" for the Pasco School Bond, with 53% voting "No." If passed, the $59 million bond would pay for a new elementary school and middle school, and several remodeling projects.

55% of voters in Benton County voted "Yes" for the Prosser School Bond, with 45% voting "No." If passed, the $39 million bond would pay for a new high school, which will require a raise in property taxes.

52% of votes in Yakima County voted "Yes" for the Selah School Bond, with 48% voting "No." If passed, the $40 million bond would pay for a new Junior High School and expand the High School.

The next ballot count will take place Wednesday, April 27th.
