KENNEWICK, Wash. -- A Benton County judge has set bail at $75,000 for a young man charged with vehicular homicide.

The Washington State Patrol arrested  21-year-old Favian Castro last weekend after he crashed his car on Interstate 82.

One of Castro's passengers died in the crash, 21-year-old Michael Hernandez.

Troopers say Hernandez wasn't wearing a seatbelt, and say Castro was under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
