CBC Soccer Brings in 10 New Recruits

PASCO, Wash. -- At CBC, Friday was a big day for Hawks soccer. The women getting to check out their brand new locker room, complete with a stereo and soon, a flat screen TV.

Plus, the Hawks celebrating bringing some new blood into the ranks. CBC signed 10 new players, most coming right from the Tri-Cities area.

"They're paying and it's local and I like staying at home," said Kendyl Reynolds, a midfielder from Chiawana High. "I know most of the girls because I'm local."

"They're here, they're ready to go," said coach Matt Mills. "The planning process is in place and they start mingling with the sophomores and we basically get to start the 2011 campaign together."

The Hawks will have spring and summer workouts. Their first scrimmage is August 18th at Eastern Oregon University.
