KENNEWICK, Wash. - He has no arms or legs but it's not stopping him from inspiring people all across the world.
28 year old Nick Vujicic was born in Australia and Wednesday night he met with business professionals at Kennewick High School to share his story. His disability came without any medical explanation - a rare occurrence called Phocomelia but it didn't stop him from living his dreams. In fact, in his young life he's accomplished more than most people ever will. He's president of the non-profit organization, Life Without Limbs, he has a double degree in Accounting and Financial Planning and he's an author. While in the Tri-Cities he'll also visit local high schools.
"I'm coming to some local schools, 4 of them actually, and just encouraging teenagers to never give up. And to know their true sense of value and talk about bullying, self esteem and let them know that together we can make a difference," said Nick Vujicic.
Nick also released his first book Life Without Limits. It's available at most book stores including online.
The event was sponsored by Mccurley Integrity and Gather for Him Ministries.
