Central's Robertson is Wildcat's Starting QB Going Into Spring Game
Ellensburg, Wash. -- Central Washington Quarterback Ryan Robertson is glad that this spring he is one of the the unquestioned leaders of the Wildcat's offense.
Robertson goes into Saturday's spring game as the projected starter after having to fight for the starting job his 1st 2 years at Central.
Last year, Robertson won the job after Oklahoma State transfer Alex Cate started the first 2 games.
This year, Robertson is glad he has the job from the start.
"I really feel like the guy this year and I came out to spring with a whole new attitude this year, trying to make sure I help everyone else get better," said Robertson.
"We're getting some weight on him right now and he is having an excellent spring," said head coach Blaine Bennett. "His knowledge of the offense is very good, he is throwing a better ball, and so I would have to say Ryan Robertson is our guy at this point."
The Central spring game is Saturday at 1pm at Tomlinson Stadium.
