KENNEWICK, Wash. -- The Tri-Cities Fever will look to knock off the Fairbanks Grizzlies for the 2nd time this season on Saturday.
In the Fever's first meeting with Fairbanks back in the middle of March, quarterback Houston Lillard burned the Grizz for 7 touchdowns enroute to a 50-35 win.
But this time, the game is in Alaska, not at at the Toyota Center. The Grizzlies are 6-3, 2nd in the Pacific Division behind the Fever.
Coach Shackleford knows the Grizz will be ready to play in front of their home fans.
"It's the toughest place to play for a lot of reasons," said Shackleford. "We've got to be prepared. They have a poor surface to run around on. It's a long distance. It is going to be a tough game. They haven't lost since we beat them at the beginning of the year. It's going to be a huge game. We have to be prepared for their crowd."
