KENNEWICK, Wash.—Hundreds of bikers showed up Saturday at Jack-sons Sports Bar in Kennewick for "Bikin' 4 Boobs."
The annual event raises donations and awareness for breast cancer. The fundraiser is in honor of Terry Flores, a local woman who fought breast cancer for six years. She died in 2009. Flores' daughter says she is happily surprised with the overwhelming turnout every year.
"There are so many who go through the same thing that I go through and this effects so many people, and it's overwhelming, and it makes me really happy, really proud," says Jennifer Flores.
All of the money raised goes to the Susan G. Komen Foundation Passionately Pink for Cure. Last year they raised $22,000.
