Former sheriff's deputy found dead inside of jail cell
YAKIMA, Wash. -- A former Yakima County sheriff's deputy charged with rape, assault and burglary was found dead inside his cell.
Yakima County corrections officers found the body of Sean Moore last night while doing routine checks.
Moore was placed in protective custody because of his past in law enforcement. Department of Corrections say an autopsy is being scheduled to determine the cause of death. The 37 year old pleaded guilty to multiple felonies including rape and burglary and was facing 10 to 14 years in prison.
