PASCO, WA- Attorneys Wednesday will start the process of picking a jury for a high profile murder trial.
Pasco police arrested Ramon Garcia Morales and his brother in December 2008. They are accused of shooting a man to death and critically wounding the man's wife in their home as their two daughters watched.
The brothers' trials have been delayed several times over the past two years while attorneys argued the men's mental competency.
Doctors declared Ramon Morales competent to stand trial, but a judge has suspended the trial of his brother, Jose Garcia Morales, who has now been moved to Eastern State Hospital.
Before court today, corrections officers showered Ramon Morales, who has recently neglected his hygiene.
Prosecutors and defense attorneys will select a jury from a large group of people that have been summoned to the courthouse Wednesday.
