Power back on for West Pasco residents

Posted: Updated:

Here is a statement from Franklin PUD regarding Wednesday night's power outage in West Pasco:

"Franklin PUD experienced a power outage last night, Wednesday, May 25th, due to a truck hitting a pole on Rd. 68 and Argent.  With the wind and rain storm that we experienced, the transmission pole wires arced and landed on the ground in the middle of Road 68 around 7:37 p.m.  We had four substations lose power for approximately 2 hours, with another section of a substation out of power until about 2:30 a.m.  Most of West Pasco was affected by the outage.  Power was restored to all of Franklin PUD customers as of 2:30 a.m. Wednesday morning."
