KENNEWICK, Wash. -- A former Portland Police officer accused of approaching girls in Columbia Park is back in jail and back in a Benton County courtroom today.

Bail was set at one million dollars today for Ryan Graichen. He's charged with one count of felony stalking and four counts of violating contact orders.

According to court documents, the ex - officer posted $250,000.00 bail and was released from jail back on April 28th.

The next day, he made two facebook accounts and contacted his ex - girlfriend. And again four different times this month. She has a no contact order against him, and is also a witness for the prosecution in graichen's case.

"Defendants do violate conditions of release when they're out on bail. And such, their bail does get yanked. And, in this case, the defendant has been violating conditions of release by contacting state witnesses and also by committing additional crimes," explains Benton County Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Anita Petra.

At times throughout the arraignment hearing, Graichen displayed various emotions from distressed to bored while hearing the newest charges against him. A trial date on the new charges has been set for July 5th.

Graichen will re-appear in court for trial on August 29th for the sex crimes in Columbia Park.
