KENNEWICK, Wash. -- You can expect some fireworks when the Tri-Cities Fever and Fairbanks Grizzlies meet on Saturday Night at the Toyota Center.
The Fever and Grizz have two of the top scoring offenses in the IFL, averaging 109 points a game.
With a win, Tri-Cities will finish the regular season with a perfect home record and will wrap up a division title.
So far this season, the Fever and Grizzlies have split their first two games.
Tri-Cities is coming off a loss to Colorado last week. Coach Adam Shackleford says his team needs to make some changes to get a win this week.
"We've got to protect Houston [Lillard] and give him time to throw," said Shackleford. "We've got to be able to run the football and be more balanced this week. And we've got to understand that this team is coming off a loss in Pennsylvania. They are going to be focused and ready to play."
"It really has nothing to do with the other teams," said receiver Steven Whitehead. "We seem to kill ourselves. When we do lose games, we seem to kill ourselves when things are going bad. As long as we take care of things we can control, we should be okay."
