PROSSER, Wash.—Thousands of dollars was raised at the 7th annual Dash Race in Prosser Saturday morning.
People participated in a bike ride and a fun run. All the proceeds are donated to the Columbia Valley Youth Board of the Make the Dash Count Foundation. The board is run by 13 youth in the Columbia Valley. They work all year toward the big event.
"The whole goal of it was to try and teach us about philanthropy in the Tri-Cities. It's really nice to give back to those who have given so much," says Dominick Ghirardo, Youth Board President.
$5,000 was raised. All of the proceeds will go to the Prosser Boys and Girls Club.
