Local Mount Everest guide comes home

PASCO, Wash.- A Richland man is home with his family Monday after climbing Mt. Everest for the 15th time.

Ang Dorjee landed at the Pasco airport after being gone for about 75 days, leading an expedition up the tallest mountain in the world.

He climbed with a framed picture of his two young children Karma and Tashi.

Dorjee has braved storms, fatigue and dizzying heights, and says he's ready to get back to reality.

"He's got a pretty long honey-do list. There's a lot of yard work that needs to be caught up on" says his wife Michelle Gregory.

Dorjee says his son Tashi has already hiked mount rainier with him and might one day be joining him on everest.
