RICHLAND, WA- Hanford contractor Mission Support Alliance Wednesday handed out its 5000th book in the Books for Babies program.

MSA President Frank Armijo presented a gift basket to the lucky parents, Gary and Alyson Pyles, day-and-a-half-old baby girl, Rosalyn.

The pyles say they want to make sure their new daughter has every door open to her.

"A College education is so important, so we can definitely see her going off and pursuing whatever kind of degree she wants as a professional active member of society," says Alyson Pyle.

Mission Support Alliance has sponsored the Books for Babies program since it started a year ago. As part of the program, all of the hospitals in the Tri Cities give a book to every new arrival to the maternity ward.

The Pyles say they expect Rosalyn's bigger brother will be reading to his new little sister.
