KENNEWICK, Wash. -- Bikers in Kennewick 'rumbled on the road' for a good cause.
'Rumble on the Road' is a charity ride to raise money for a search and rescue underwater robot for the Benton and Franklin County Sheriff's Office.
The bikers pulled off from the Rattlesnake Mountain Harley - Davidson store in Kennewick.
"It would be the first one of it's kind in the northwest even. We have the possibility to save a person's life, that's actually gone under water and drowned," said Deputy Terry Brown of the Franklin County Sheriff's Office.
People donated $25.00 to participate. $45,000 was raised before the bikers hit the road. Event organizers are hoping to double that amount for a total goal of $85,000.
